Media Release: Gov. Ricketts Issues New Executive Order for Locate Request Flexibility
LINCOLN – Governor Pete Ricketts has issued a new executive order to extend the response time for locate requests in flood-impacted communities. State law requires responses to notifications of excavation within two days. Executive Order 19-05 temporarily extends the response time to seven days for personnel engaged in disaster response.
