AGC Nebraska Chapter Membership Benefits Just Got Better

Overcoming labor challenges in the construction industry with the AGC - Enova Partnership
Associated General Contractors of Nebraska is excited to announce a partnership with The Enova Group.

AGC Nebraska Chapter strives to make the construction industry strong. Member benefits are extensive – including access to discount programs, networking opportunities, access to bid opportunities, AGC Career Center, and Chapter communications. Now, AGC Nebraska Chapter Members can take control of their hiring process with the help of the new Enova partnership.

“Finding the right talent in Nebraska is a challenge many of our customers face. The Enova team is excited for our partnership with the AGC Nebraska Chapter to give their members access to the human resource services that will help them thrive in today's marketplace,” said Ben Gano – Enova Director of Client Strategy.

Obtaining and retaining a talented workforce takes extensive internal resources and dedicated personnel – or the necessary budget to create the right solutions. The AGC Nebraska Chapter believes that its Members should have access to the HR resources that help construction workforces succeed.

“Tackling the workforce development issue is more than promoting your industry to the workforce. The HR process today is so different than it was 10 to 20 years ago. We felt it was time for owners, top managers, anyone involved in hiring and managing their people to take a step back and review their recruiting, hiring, onboarding and retention programs. Technology makes things happen so fast; but it can also help us get better at the process.

Traditional staffing/recruiting companies don't assist companies in improving their process – that's how the AGC/Enova program is different. We're excited to partner with Enova to provide our Members with best practices, training and recruitment programs that help them modernize their talent initiatives,” said Katie Wilson – Executive Director AGC Nebraska Chapter.

Through this partnership, Members will benefit from several Enova solutions – including an HR health check which provides Members with recommendations on how to remain competitive in the talent marketplace. Through online webinars and talent workshops, Members can learn modern approaches to recruiting, training and engaging talent – as well as gaining expert insights that can be put into action right away.

According to Kevin Kirkle, Enova Vice President, “This new partnership with the AGC Nebraska Chapter exemplifies our deep commitment to both innovation and meeting the needs of our customers. We are excited about our combined potential.”

The Next Level

If Members are ready to take their recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to the next level – Enova also offers additional, comprehensive packages at rates exclusive to the AGC Nebraska Chapter.  The customized approach can help Members spend less time with reactive HR functions and more time with proactive business solutions.

As construction and industrial organizations experience greater challenges identifying, engaging, and retaining talent – due in part to the increased gap in available skills coupled with generational changes and an evolving use of technology – Enova is proud to partner with the AGC Nebraska Chapter to help address many of these challenges.
