The AGC Nebraska Chapter advocates for the need to invest in workforce development efforts and infrastructure in the state of Nebraska. Listed below are some of the ways we've spent our advocacy dollars in recent years.

CCC Heavy Equipment Operator Technician Scholarships - More Information
2023: Total of $4,000 distributed to a student enrolled in the CCC HEOT Program
2022: Total of $12,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program
2021: Total of $12,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program
2020:Total of $12,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program
2019:Total of $12,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program
2018:Total of $4,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program
2017: Total of $8,000 distributed to students enrolled in the CCC HEOT program

CCC'S HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR TECHNICIAN PROGRAM
In 2016, Central Community College in Hastings launched a new Heavy Equipment Operator Technician program. The AGC Nebraska Chapter chose to invest a total of $500,000 in this program - $250,000 was initially distributed in 2016, and then $25,000 will be given to the program each year for the next 10 years. The state of Nebraska has a huge need for heavy equipment operators, and we are confident this program will begin to fill those gaps in the workforce.
